nathanduckworth.com v2.1 beta5 2010 edition coming soon.

The v1.0 alpha 2.001 version of this site was published sometime in the summer of 2001, and faithfully (kind of) updated for around 3 years, until about October of 2005. It featured links to some of my fave-est sites (who cares?) a ridiculously out of date and non-user-friendly portfolio of work, a section for dancing animated gif characters I made called "The Diminutive Danseurs", and a section for short stories I wrote. My Xanga blog predated this site by nearly a year, I was a real early adopter there, super with it. very very very trendy and in touch with the times. As I got immeasurably more wise, cool, reallistic, bitter, and awesome the site sat and reminded everyone of the mediocrity that was, and for the last two or three years it's become an embarrassment to me (and still it sat). But it was my place to be creative and put things that were all my own during a time that my "day job" just didn't allow that, ever. And so like the proverbial red-headed step child, I can't really hate it, it's got lots of redeeming qualities and it knows how to program the VCR. But I have to scowl at it if anyone's looking.
